How to report Spam (Junk) or Phishing Messages to ITS

The best way to report a suspected spam or phishing message to ITS is to use the built-in Report or Report Message button in Outlook. This provides ITS with all the information we need to assess the threat and take action if necessary.
Instructions for Outlook on various platforms are below:
Webmail:
- Log into http://mail.pomona.edu .
- View the message you wish to report (Do not click on any links or open any attachments).
- Click the '...' icon next to the Reply/Reply All/Forward icons.
- Choose Report from the resulting menu and then either 'Report phishing' or 'Report junk' depending on the message.
Outlook for iOS:
- In Outlook for Android, view the message you wish to report (Do not click on any links or open any attachments).
- Click on the three-dots (...) icon at the top and choose 'Report Junk'.
- Select Junk or Phishing depending on the message.
Outlook for Android:
- In Outlook for Android, view the message you wish to report (Do not click on any links or open any attachments).
- Click on the three-vertical-dot icon next to the sender's name and choose 'Report Message'.
- Select 'Report as phishing' or 'Report as junk' depending on the message.
Outlook for Windows:
- In Outlook for Windows, view the message you wish to report (Do not click on any links or open any attachments).
- Choose Report Message from the toolbar.
- Select 'Phishing' or 'Junk' depending on the message.
Outlook for Mac:
- In Outlook for Mac, view the message which you wish to report (Do not click on any links or open any attachments).
- Click on the 'Report' menu and select 'Report phishing' or 'Report junk' depending on the message.
