Pomona College VPN for iOS and Android

NOTE:

You will not be able use VPN when connected to Pomona wireless.

The instructions below will show one how to install and configure Cisco Secure Client for Pomona College VPN access on an iOS and Android devices.

Steps:

Cisco Secure Client for Android and iOS is available for FREE from the Google Pay Store and Apple App Store.

Do a search for Cisco Secure Client and tap on Install or Get.
Once downloaded, tap the Cisco Secure Client app icon to launch.
If prompted, click OK to the Cisco End User License Agreement.
If prompted, 'Allow' notifications.
Tap 'Connection'.
Click the + symbol or 'Add VPN Connection' to add a connection.
For Description, add Pomona College VPN.

For Server Address, add anyconnect.pomona.edu.

Then, tap the Done or Save button.
Click the back button to get back to the home screen.

NOTE: Skip this step if on a tablet.
Tap the slider next to the AnyConnect VPN listing.
At the Pomona College Sign In prompt, enter your username of username@mymail.pomona.edu (students) or username@pomona.edu (staff or faculty). Then, tap 'Next'.
Enter your password and tap 'Sign In'.
Complete the DUO multifactor authentication.
Click 'Yes' to in the Stay signed in prompt.

VPN should now be Connected.

NOTE: To disconnect the VPN connection, tap the slider next to Anyconnect VPN.
