How to Install Mathematica
The information below will show one how to install install Mathematica on a Mac or Windows computer. The Steps: Visit http://user.wolfram.com and create (or login to) a Wolfram ID. NOTE: You will need to use your Pomona College email address Visit the 'Wolfram Activation Key Request Form' at https://user.wolfram.com/portal/requestAK/b4265132043c914c79a1373f7408135ec290cd79 . Log in with your Wolfram ID Fill in the required information, select your desired version of Mathematica and click ' Submit '. Make a note of your activation key Click on the the 'Product Summary page' link, accessible from the same page where you received the activation key. Click the ' Get Downloads ' button and download Mathematica (Mac or Windows). Install Mathematica and launch the application. Enter the Activation Key you received earlier and press Activate (an internet connection is required). Accept the license agreement and click 'OK'. Mathematica is now ready to use.

How to install Transact (formerly Blackboard) on to your Windows computer
NOTE: To obtain a Transact account, please contact the Claremont Colleges IT help desk at 909-621-8196 or ithelp.desk@claremont.edu. The Transact software is not available for the Mac OS. Mac users will need to use Transact though Azure Virtual Desktop and will need to be added to the AVD-TransactUsers Security Group. Please contact the ITS Service Desk at ServiceDesk@pomona.edu for assistance. The instructions below will show one how to download and install Transact on their Windows computer. Visit https://cucclaremont.box.com/s/aj42hmjh4820et954a8u0na9afvgfwlv to download the Workstation.zip file. Unzip the Workstation.zip file to create the Workstation folder. NOTE: Alternatively, you can open the Workstation.zip file and manually copy the Workstation folder outside of the zip file. Move the Workstation folder to your local profile folder on the computer (e.g., C:\Users\, C:\Users\ces02023) NOTE: Please contact the ITS Service Desk (909-621-8061) for assistance on unzipping a file and placing into the correct location. Open the Workstation folder. Scroll down to TSMain.exe and right-click and select Send to and then Desktop (create shortcut). This will create the TSMain.exe shortcut on your desktop (you can rename the shortcut to 'Transact'). Double-click that icon to run Transact. The first time you do this you might see a warning like this. This file is safe to run, so click the Run button. After the software runs its configuration process, the Transact login menu should appear (see image below). The first time Transact is launched, enter bbtscuc.cuc.claremont.edu into the “Web API Server FQDN” textbox. After that enter your user name and password and then click the 'OK' button. Transact should open shortly after that.

The app features hundreds of calming exercises, helpful breathing techniques, and sleep stories narrated by celebrities. Calm has many offerings, and the interface is relatively simple. Acquire and install Atlas.ti
The instructions below will show one how to acquire and install Atlas.ti. Steps: Visit http://my.atlasti.com . The Atlas.ti login page, click on the 'Sign up' link to create a new Atlas.ti account profile using your Pomona email address. NOTE: If you already have an Atlas.ti account profile, just login. Verify your email address. Once you are logged into your Atlas.ti account, click on 'Activate License' in the Navigation bar at the left side. Enter the Atlas.ti invitation code and click 'Activate'. NOTE: The Atlas.ti invitation code is available to all authenticated Pomona College community members via Box at https://pomona.box.com/s/5o8q1k3do5vittomy6rd9coi94pln906 . If you have not activated your Pomona College Box account profile yet, please click here for 'Activate Your Account' instructions. Then, click on ' Join License '. The registration will need to be approved by ITS. We will do this ASAP. Once approved, you should see a 'You just joined an ATLAS.ti Multi User license!' message. Download and install Atlas.ti (Mac or Windows), or use the web-based version using the links below. Log into the software using the same credentials created/used above.

'Run-time error- Class not registered' error with Raiser's Edge
Problem When opening Raiser's Edge, the following error appears: 'Run-time error '-2147221164 (80040154))': Class not registered Environment Windows 10 and 11 Raiser's Edge 7.96.x Status As of December 2, 2024, the problem is still appearing on various computers. With one exception, re-moving and re-installing the software using the following information appears to resolve the problem. Solution 1 NOTE: This work-around is based on the information at https://kb.blackbaud.com/knowledgebase/articles/Article/197066 . Steps: Go to the network location of: \\raiserdb\RE7Deploy\Tools\ Run the 'RERegister.exe' application 'as Administrator'. Click the 'Start' button to proceed. This should fix the problem permanently. However, if the error returns in a week or later, use the Solution 2 below. Solution 2 Steps: Go to the network location of: \\raiserdb\RE7Deploy\Tools\ Run the 'RERegister.exe' application 'as Administrator'. Click the 'Start' button to proceed. Complete the steps at https://kb.blackbaud.com/knowledgebase/articles/Article/41655 exactly as published to completely remove The Raiser's Edge, especially the removal of registry entries. Rebooted the computer. Re-installed The Raiser's Edge. Removed/re-installed PaperSave. Launch Raiser's Edge and install updates as needed. Raiser's Edge should be fixed now.
