How to Add YouTube Videos to Kaltura (My Media)

While in your course or in MediaSpace, click into My Media (your private Kaltura library).

Click the Add New button and select YouTube.
After agreeing to the use policy, paste the YouTube link within the appropriate field.
Click Preview to ensure the video loads.
Edit any of the descriptive fields you wish and click Save
You may now share the YouTube video as you would with any other Kaltura media.

Note: Kaltura acts as a portal to the YouTube media, the media itself is not saved to Kaltura. If the media is changed or removed by the owner or YouTube, your connection to the media will change as well.
