Box Drive for Windows & Mac

Box Drive allows one to view files and folders of Box cloud storage in the native operating system folder window of their Mac (in a Finder window) or Windows computer (in a File Explorer windows).

The instructions below will show one how to log into Box Drive on a Windows or Macintosh computer.

Steps:

Download and install Box Drive from https://www.box.com/resources/downloads .
Open the Box Drive and click on ' Log In '.
On the website that opens, enter your username (username@pomona.edu (staff/faculty) or username@mymail.pomona.edu (for students)) and click ' Next '.
In the window, click on the 'Sign In with SSO' link.

WARNING:
- Do not enter your password here.
- If you do not the 'Sign In with SSO' link, you have not activated your Pomona College Box account. Please click here to do so.
You should then be taken to a Microsoft login page (with Stover Walk in the background). Authenticate there with your username (username@mymail.pomona.edu or username@pomona.edu) and your password.
Complete the DUO MFA authentication.
Click on 'Open Link'.

Box Drive should now be authenticated. Open a Finder window (Mac) or File Explorer window (Windows).

The Box Drive cloud storage will appear in the folder list on the left.
