Zoom 'update required'
Problem
When attempting to use Zoom, you encounter one of the following errors:

'Update Required.
You must update to the latest version of Zoom to start this meeting. Contact our ITS admin to update'.

- 'Your app version needs to be <stated version> or higher to sign in. Please contact your IT team to update your app'.
Environment
Solution
- Go to the Search menu and type 'Zoom' (see image directly below).
- In the Zoom listing that appears, perform a right-mouse-button click on Zoom.
- Click on 'Uninstall'.

- In the Program and Features window that opens, scroll down to the Zoom listing. Then, perform a right-mouse-button click on Zoom and select 'Uninstall'.

- Wait till Zoom is no longer listed.
- Download and install the latest 'Zoom Workplace desktop app' installer from http://zoom.us/download .
- Open Zoom and authenticate to your Pomona College account using the SSO option (click here for instructions).
Zoom should be ready to use again.
