Set up E-mail on a Mobile Device (Android, iOS, Kindle, Windows, etc.)
The information below is to setup your Office 365 email account on a mobile phone or tablet. The instructions are general, meaning that they can be used for any mobile phone or tablet.
NOTE: The instructions below are basic. There will be variations between mobile/tablet operating systems.
To start the setup
- Find the 'Settings' option on your phone or tablet.
- In Settings, select 'Add Account' or 'Add'. Select either Microsoft Exchange, Office 365 or Outlook ActiveSync.
Enter the information below as requested (some information below may not be necessary):
Email address:
Your userID email address
i.e.:
ces02022@mymail.pomona.edu (students or alumni)
ces02022@pomona.edu (faculty or staff))
