Environment
- Microsoft Outlook for Windows
Solution
There might be a bad cached email address in Microsoft Outlook on the computer. To fix:
- Open a new message in Microsoft Outlook.
- In the new message, start to type the name or email address of the desired person in the To: field of the new message.
As you are typing and the full address starts to appear, press that Delete key on your keyboard to deleted the cached address.
- Type part of the name of the desired person (e.g., Cecil) in the To: field of the new message. Then, press CTRL and K keys on your keyboard.
A list all people with similar names on campus will appear, one of which will be the correct contact for the person you desire to contact. Select the correct person and click OK to add to the To: field of the message.
NOTE:
If the person you desire to send a message to is not a Pomona College member, manually enter the person's email address in the To: field.

- Send the message and check for results.
If successful, repeat the same steps for any other person where you encounter the same issue.
