Set up Microsoft Outlook for iOS and Android (Phone or Tablet)
The instructions below will show one how to setup Microsoft Outlook for Android or iOS, with you use a phone (iPhone, Galaxy, etc.) or tablet (iPad, Surface, etc).

The Setup
The images and settings below might be slightly different from what you may see on your phone or tablet, depending on the version of Android and iOS installed.
Please do the following:
Microsoft Outlook for Android and iOS is available for FREE from the Google Pay Store and Apple App Store. Do a search for Microsoft Outlook and tap on 'Install'.
Once downloaded, tap the 'Outlook' app icon on the Android home screen to open it.

Click on ' ADD ACCOUNT '.
Under Add account in the 'Enter your email' field, enter your email address inform of username@mymail.pomona.edu (students or alums) or username@pomona.edu (staff or faculty).
Then, tap 'Continue'.
Enter your Pomona College password. Then, tap ' Sign in '.
Complete the DUO MFA authentication. Then, tap 'Yes, this is my device'.
The app with gather the required information to connect Outlook.
After a few moments, you may encounter a message stating, 'Would you like to add another account?'.
Select 'Maybe later'.
Select whether you want notifications or not.
Outlook may start a small tour of the app. You can view the tour or tap 'Skip'.
If the setup is successful, the Outlook app will open to your Inbox and will display your email.

NOTE:
If you have many messages in your account, it may take some time before you see messages in Outlook for Android as the email synchronization will need time to complete.

To turn off 'Focused' Inbox:
Click on your account icon in the upper left corner.
Select settings (the gear icon) in the lower left corner.
Scroll down to 'Focused Inbox' and slide the setting to off.
