Qualtrics - Getting Started
Surveys are simple-to-use but powerful tools for conducting research. You can use the Qualtrics survey builder to craft the information you want to gather, decide when certain questions appear, and customize the appearance.
If you have just logged in, you should be able to simply select 'Create new project'.
If this isn’t the case, you can select the three-line icon on the left-hand corner.
- From there, select 'Catalog'.

- Next, scroll down and click on 'Survey'.
- Click on ' Get Started ' (lower right corner).
- Enter a title for your project and select how you want to start your survey from the drop-down menu that appears. 'Create a blank survey project' is set as the default, but you can select 'Import a QSF file', 'Copy a survey from an existing project', or 'Use a survey from your library'.
- Select 'Create Project'.
- You will now be able to begin adding questions and features to your survey.
