How to add a non-Pomona College students/people to your Slack channel
NOTE:
The instructions below will show one how to add a non-Pomona user to their Slack channel.
- Click on the workspace name (e.g., Pomona College) where the desired channel lives (in the top left) and select Invite people to .

- Confirm the Workspace where the channel resides.
Then, click Next.

- Change the 'Invite as' option to 'Guest'.

- Add the non-Pomona email address of your guest(s) under Send to.
Under the 'Add to channels (required)' box, add the channel(s) the guests should have access to.
Set your desired time limit for the guest access (you can leave at 'No Limit').
Add a message to let your guest know why they are being added.

NOTE:
If an error appear that the guest 'is already in this workspace', they can log in using the instructions at:
https://servicedesk.pomona.edu/support/solutions/articles/18000107963
- You will receive a confirmation of the sent invitation. Click ' Done ' to finish, ...or 'Invite More People'.

- The guest(s) will receive an email with concise instructions on how to create and guest account and join.
