Install the Hyland Software Virtual Printer

The instructions below will show one how to install the Hyland Software Virtual Printer in Windows.

NOTE:
The OnBase account of the person using the Hyland Software Virtual Printer needed to be licensed to do so. The Onbase team of ITS can grant that access.

Installation

Download and Installed the Microsoft .NET 4.6 Platform from:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48130

NOTE: This software may already be installed on the computer. The Microsoft .NET 4.6 Platform installer will tell you if it is.
Using Internet Explorer (this will only work with IE, not Chrome or Firefox), navigate to:

https://onbase.campus.pomona.edu/webdeploy/
Under the 'Packaged Deployments' section, click on the link labeled 'Unity Client - Standard with VPD Install'.

The installer should automatically download and run on your machine without any additional steps required
Once the installation is completed, the Unity Client should also automatically launch and log you into the system. If it does not, please run it from your Start menu and log in.
Install the Virtual Print Driver listener app.

a. Download and unzip the vpd64.zip file from:

b. Run the setup.exe executable.
After launching the Unity Client, open a document (PDF or other) and try printing it to the 'Hyland Software Virtual Printer'.
An import window in the Unity Client should automatically pop up after a second or two.
