Canon Copier is not responding to print, scan or email functions
NOTE:
Canon Copiers on campus may not be fully functional after power disruption (even short ones) to a building or the campus.
However, most network related problems with Canon Copiers can be resolved by a power cycle.
- Using the black power switch on the right side and at the back of the copier turn the copier completely off.
NOTE: Do not use the power button on control panel at the top of the copier.
- After the copier is off, wait 2 minutes. Then, turn the copier back on.
Test for the results.
If the steps above do not work the first time, repeat them one more time.

For Service Desk staff:
- Before escalating email/printing trouble on a copier to the Print Services teams, check to make sure the correct day and time is set on the copier. The scanning feature will not work if the date/time are incorrect.
